The Mereka Talent Accelerator is a nationwide initiative committed to equipping Malaysia's youth with the essential skills and mindset needed to succeed in the future of work.

Powered by Yayasan Hasanah, in collaboration with Biji-biji Initiative and Mereka, the programme offers expert-led digital skills training, personalised career coaching, and ongoing community support.

Through Mereka Talent Accelerator, participants—regardless of their background—are empowered to build meaningful careers, achieve sustainable employment, and contribute to lasting, positive change within their communities.

Participant Commitment

To make the most of the Mereka Talent Accelerator Programme, participants are required to commit to the following phases:

Overall Commitment: 1½ Year

6 months of experiential-based learning.

8 months of empowerment, peer support, and career tracking.

Awareness Phase

  • Attend Pre-Learning Sessions (3 hours)
  • Join Webinars & On-ground Workshop

Upskilling Phase

  • Complete a 3-Day Physical Bootcamp (21 hours)
  • Finish Virtual Learning Modules (16 hours)

Employability Phase

  • Participate in Career Coaching Sessions (8 hours)
  • Attend Employer Networking Events
  • Create and Refine Your Career Portfolio

Community & Impact Phase

  • Join Monthly Peer Support Sessions
  • Complete Quarterly Income & Career Progress Surveys
  • Participate in Alumni Community Activities
